Description: يشير مصطلح "الحركة النهارية" إلى اليومي. على الأرض، يتعلق بحركة السماء الناتجة عن دوران الأرض اليومي. تظهر النجوم والأجرام السماوية الأخرى وكأنها تتحرك من الشرق إلى الغرب. يتزامن محور هذه الحركة الظاهرة مع محور دوران الأرض. تمثل الدائرة اليومية المسار الذي يسلكه النجم بينما تحمله السماء المحيطة عبر السماء. يمكن رؤية هذه الدوائر اليومية في صور التعريض الطويل لليل، حيث تظهر آثار النجوم على شكل قوس أو أجزاء من دوائر مركزة حول القطبين السماويين الشمالي والجنوبي. سيلاحظ المراقب على كوكب آخر مسارات مختلفة للنجوم والأجرام السماوية الأخرى عبر السماء بسبب اختلاف محور دوران الكوكب وفترته مقارنة بالأرض.
