Description: Ionisierung ist der Prozess, bei dem Elektronen von zuvor neutralen Atomen entfernt oder zu diesen hinzugefügt werden. Dadurch wird ein Gas aus neutralen Atomen (oder Molekülen) zu einem Gas aus geladenen Ionen, d. h. zu einem Plasma.
