Description: सूर्याच्या गुरुत्वाकर्षणाच्या प्रभावाखाली असलेल्या सर्व वस्तू सूर्यमालेचे सदस्य आहेत. केंद्रस्थानी असलेल्या सूर्याव्यतिरिक्त, सूर्यमालेमध्ये आठ ग्रह (बुध, शुक्र, पृथ्वी, मंगळ, गुरू, शनि, युरेनस आणि नेपच्यून), त्यांचे चंद्र, बटू ग्रह, लघुग्रह, धूमकेतू, मीटररॉइड (अशनी), क्युपर पट्टा आणि त्यापलीकडील सूर्याभोवती फिरणाऱ्या इतर वस्तु, तसेच कृत्रिम उपग्रह आणि स्पेस प्रोब यांचा समावेश होतो. असे मानले जाते की सूर्यमालेचा विस्तार सूर्यापासून 100,000 खगोलशास्त्रीय एककांपर्यंत आहे ज्याला ऊर्ट क्लाउड म्हणतात, ज्यामध्ये अब्जावधी बर्फाळ वस्तूंचा समावेश आहे.
