In this talk I will briefly describe the 4 P's of creative learning: Projects, Peers, Passion and Play. Despite being quite simple ideas, applying them to the design and facilitation of creative learning experiences is far from easy. The 4 P's do not define a method or a specific practice: they are guiding principles that help educators ask new questions, challenge assumptions, and inform their practice. I'll highlight some current experiences in astronomy education that, in my opinion, resonate with this framework. I hope that the 4 P’s of creative learning can be a useful framework for teachers to imagine and develop meaningful learning experiences, helping their students grow as thoughtful and curious inhabitants of the universe.
