Glossary term: 银河系核球
Description: 在银河系中，核球是银河系中心周围的区域，恒星在这里的排列具有一定体积，不像周围的盘状区域那么扁平。银河系的核球主要由年老恒星组成，但也混杂着年轻恒星。其他螺旋星系也有各不相同的中心核球结构。
