Description: 臭氧是一种无色或淡蓝色的气体,每个分子由三个氧原子组成。它的化学式为 O₃,对人体有毒。它在大气中的比例很小,在某些区域可能不超过百万分之一。根据臭氧所在的位置不同,它可以保护或危害地球上的生命。
大部分臭氧位于平流层,它在那里起到保护地球表面免受太阳紫外线辐射的作用。由于人类将氯氟烃引入大气层,臭氧层的保护作用已经减弱,从而增加了患皮肤癌、白内障和免疫系统衰弱的风险。1987 年,《蒙特利尔议定书》禁止使用这些气体作为制冷剂和气溶胶喷雾推进剂,随后平流层臭氧层开始恢复。
在地球表面附近和对流层中,臭氧是一种非常有害的污染物,会对肺组织和植物造成损害。
