Glossary term: 重量
Description: 地球产生一种被称为万有引力的力,它将所有物体拉向地球中心。在地球表面或其附近,我们会感受到这种力将我们和其他一切物体向下拉。对于任何物体,这种向下拉力的强度被称为该物体的重量。在任何星球上,物体的重量与其质量成正比,在日常生活中,有时我们会交替使用重量和质量这两个词。当我们使用浴室的秤时,它测量的是压在上面的力。如果我们静静地站在秤上,没有推拉另一个物体,这个力就是我们的体重,但秤给出的结果是我们的质量值,单位是公斤、磅或其他质量单位。但是,如果我们站在月球或其他星球的表面上,我们的质量仍然是一样的,但是我们的重量就不一样了,所以把这两个词区分开是很重要的!
