Glossary term: 有效温度
Description: 恒星的有效温度指的是,如果我们假设这颗恒星是一个理论上的完美辐射体,也就是“黑体”,它具有与该恒星相同的表面积和总光输出,那么这个黑体的温度就是恒星的有效温度。
恒星有不同的温度层,其中几个温度层贡献了我们最终接收到的星光。天文学家通常发现,用一个简单得多的模型来表示恒星是非常有用的,这个模型就是被称为 "黑体 "的理想发光体。黑体的总能量输出完全取决于两个参数:温度和表面积。恒星的有效温度就是与恒星具有相同表面积和相同总能量输出的黑体的温度。
有效温度是一种衡量恒星外层不同区域对总光输出平均贡献的方法,其数值通常与恒星的光球温度非常接近。光球是恒星表面的一层,它是恒星大部分辐射光的来源。
