Glossary term: 米粒组织

Description: 在太阳的外层区域,炙热的气体流体上升、膨胀并冷却,随后下沉。这种对流过程发生在每个大约1500公里宽的独立单元内。每个单元中央升起的热物质比边缘下沉的冷物质更亮,因此形成了中心明亮、边缘较暗的图案,称为米粒。这些米粒是暂时的现象,每个米粒仅持续几分钟,随后便被太阳内部沸腾的对流气流所扰乱。
