Glossary term: 色指数
Description: 恒星或其他天体的色指数是指用两个不同颜色或波段（如黄色和蓝色）测量的亮度或星等之间的差值。最常见的色指数是 (B-V)，其中 B 是通过标准蓝色滤光片测量的星等，V 是通过标准黄色滤光片测量的星等。B 滤光片类似于老式照相底片的感色度，而 V 滤光片则类似于人眼的感色度。对于恒星来说，(B-V)是对温度的度量，不过它也会受到恒星之间尘埃导致的红化的影响。
