Glossary term: 暗星云
Description: 暗星云是太空中由气体和尘埃组成的冷云，它阻挡了来自其后面的恒星和明亮星云的大部分光线，因此看起来很暗。尽管尘埃仅占星云中物质的1%，但正是尘埃阻挡了来自后面的光线。暗星云会阻挡可见光和紫外线，但通过红外线还是可以看到它们。最著名的例子就是猎户座的马头星云。
