Description: 小行星族是一組具有相似軌道元素的小行星：半長軸（與太陽的典型距離）、偏心率（與軌道形狀有關的參數）和軌道傾角。小行星族的成員也可能具有相似的成分，即含有一定量的岩石材料、不同金屬或水。人們認為這些小行星族的成員可能是過去較大小行星之間碰撞的殘骸。
