Glossary term: 溫度

Description: 在一個隨著時間推移而 "穩定 "下來,達到所謂熱平衡的物理系統中,系統的每種變化方式(每個 "自由度")平均具有相同的能量。系統的溫度就是衡量這種平均能量有多大的物理量。

溫度在自然科學中的所有學科以及日常生活的幾乎所有方面都很重要。最常用的溫標是攝氏溫標(原名攝氏度,用 °C 表示)、華氏溫標(用 °F 表示)和開爾文溫標(用 K 表示)。後者主要用於科學目的。理論上的最低溫度是絕對零度(0 K = -273.15°C),在這個溫度下,物體無法再提取出熱能。在恆星核中,溫度超過 1,000 萬 K,而在星際氣體的冷分子雲中,溫度可低至 10 K。
