Description: 世界時,縮寫為 UT,是定義時間測量的幾種方式的總稱。UT1是零經度(格林威治皇家天文臺的歷史所在地)的平太陽時。平太陽時將一天的長度定義為從一個正午(太陽在天空中的最高位置)到下一個正午之間的平均時間。實際上,必要的測量不是通過太陽,而是通過遙遠的天體(如夜間的類星體)進行的。UTC,協調世界時,是一種基於一組特定的大型原子鐘(“國際原子時”或 TAI)計時的時間標準,但偶爾會在某些日子添加額外的秒數(“閏秒”),以確保 UTC 和 UT1 的偏差不會超過 0.9 秒。
