Description: 環形山是固體行星、月球或其他太空小天體表面的圓形凹陷。有些環形山是火山形成的,尤其是在地球和金星上,但大多數環形山是撞擊坑,是由大型太空岩石或彗核撞擊造成的。地球表面有幾十個撞擊坑,月球上有幾千個。月球上巨大的、顏色較深的圓形地貌 “瑪麗亞"就是巨大的撞擊坑,形成於數十億年前,然後被熔岩填滿,之後凝固。
