Description: 矮行星是一種天體，具備以下特徵：它圍繞太陽運行，質量足夠大，形成近似球形，但沒有清除其軌道附近的其他物體，並且不是衛星。矮行星通常在類似天體密集的區域運行，例如小行星帶和柯伊伯帶。一般來說，矮行星比水星小，具有冰和岩石構成的結構。它們內部冰的含量與岩石的比例取決於它們在太陽系中的位置。冥王星是最著名的矮行星。需要注意的是，矮行星這個術語與已廢棄的“微型行星”不應混淆。
