Description: الدقة ، أو الدقة الزاوية هي أصغر زاوية بين نقطتين يشبهان نقطة قريبة تمكننا من رؤيتهما منفصلتين.
يمكن اعتباره أيضًا انتشارًا لجسم يشبه النقطة (مثل نجم) ، ويرجع ذلك أساسًا إلى بصريات التلسكوب.
هذه خاصية مهمة جدًا للتلسكوبات ، حيث تمكننا التلسكوبات ذات الدقة الزاويّة الأعلى من الفصل البصري بين النجوم التي تُرى قريبة جدًا من بعضها البعض وكذلك رؤية التفاصيل الدقيقة في الأجسام الممتدة مثل السدم والمجرات.
ستظهر نجمتان لهم فاصل زاوي أصغر من الدقة الزاوبة كنجم واحد. يمكن تحسين دقة التلسكوب عن طريق زيادة قطر مرآته أو عدسته التى تجميع الضوء.
يعتمد أيضًا على الطول الموجي ويصبح أاقل دقة ا مع زيادة الطول الموجي.
