Also known as ondas de radiofrecuencia

Description: Las ondas de radio corresponden a la parte del espectro electromagnético de mayor longitud de onda, menor frecuencia y menor energía. Estas ondas van desde una longitud de onda mínima de aproximadamente 1 milímetro y una frecuencia de 300 Gigahercios (GHz), hasta varios kilómetros de longitud de onda y Megahercios de frecuencia (MHz). La atmósfera terrestre es transparente para la mayor parte de las ondas de radio, lo que permite situar radiotelescopios en tierra.
