Glossary term: La Balance
Description: La Balance est une constellation du Zodiaque, c'est-à-dire que les étoiles qui la composent se trouvent dans la partie du ciel qui coupe l'écliptique, c'est à dire le plan défini par l'orbite de la Terre autour du Soleil. Ainsi, de notre point de vue, ici sur Terre, nous pouvons régulièrement trouver le Soleil, ainsi que les autres planètes du système solaire, dans cette constellation - dans le cas du Soleil, de fin octobre à fin novembre. (La Balance est l'une des 88 constellations modernes définies par l'Union astronomique internationale et l'une des 48 constellations classiques nommées par l'astronome Claudius Ptolémée au IIe siècle.
