Glossary term: Ecliptique

Description: L'écliptique est le grand cercle formé par la projection du plan de l'orbite de la Terre autour du Soleil sur la sphère céleste. En fait, l'écliptique est la trajectoire apparente du Soleil parmi les étoiles au cours de l'année. Toutes les constellations du zodiaque se trouvent le long de l'écliptique, et huit planètes majeures se trouvent relativement près de l'écliptique tel qu'observées depuis la Terre.
