Description: 日珥(prominences, 或filaments)是由于太阳周围的磁场而形成的等离子体环。这些现象是暂时的,但可能会持续数周或数月,在日食期间经常可以拍到。一个典型的日珥延伸超过数千公里(km);记录中最大的日珥估计超过800,000公里长,大约是一个太阳半径的长度。就像许多太阳现象一样,人们也认为其他恒星也会展示出日珥现象。
