Glossary term: 宇宙加速膨胀
Description: 20 世纪 90 年代末，对非常遥远星系中的 Ia 型超新星（一类恒星爆炸现象）发出的光进行测量显示，它们比膨胀率（速度）恒定的宇宙所预期的要暗。测量结果与宇宙膨胀加速的情况一致。目前对于加速膨胀的解释引入了暗能量的成分，其性质尚不清楚，是目前研究的一个课题。宇宙加速膨胀发生在非常大的尺度上，对单个引力束缚的星系没有明显影响。
