Glossary term: 哥白尼原理

Description: 这一原理的最初形式是哥白尼太阳系模型的产物。“日心说”模型指出行星围绕太阳运行,并取代了以前认为地球位于太阳系中心的特殊位置的观点。在哲学上,哥白尼原理代表着人类对我们在宇宙中的位置的认识发生了根本性的转变。这种转变在哥白尼时代是革命性的。哥白尼原理被延伸到宇宙学中,被称为宇宙学原理,它是现代宇宙学的重要基础之一——在可观测的宇宙中没有特殊的位置或方向。这两项原则也通过使用地面和太空望远镜进行各种规模的观测不断得到了验证。
