Description: 环形山是固体行星、月球或其他太空小天体表面的圆形凹陷。有些环形山是火山形成的,尤其是在地球和金星上,但大多数环形山是撞击坑,是由大型太空岩石或彗核撞击造成的。地球表面有几十个撞击坑,月球上有几千个。月球上巨大的、颜色较深的圆形地貌 “玛丽亚"就是巨大的撞击坑,形成于数十亿年前,然后被熔岩填满,之后凝固。
