Description: 在物理學中,氣體是一種物質狀態,在這種狀態下,分子或原子彼此鬆散地結合在一起,從而允許原子和分子以不同的速度持續而混亂地向四面八方運動。我們呼吸的空氣就是氮氣和氧氣等氣體的混合物。氣體溫度可由氣體粒子運動的平均能量來度量。氣體壓強(例如施加在容器壁上的壓強)主要是由是氣體粒子撞擊容器壁並反彈的效應所產生的。在天文學中,我們會遇到多種形式的氣體,例如星際氣體雲、巨型分子雲、星系際氣體或行星大氣層。天文學家所說的氣體還包含等離子體(其中的原子被電離)——例如,他們把恆星稱為“氣體球”——以及在吸積盤中旋轉的氣體。
