Glossary term: 阿波羅

Description: 在天文學中,“阿波羅”有兩種含義。第一個是指阿波羅計劃,這一計劃將人類首次送上了月球。這些任務大多由土星五號火箭提供動力。總共發射了14次帶編號的任務(阿波羅4至17號),其中11次是載人任務,9次前往月球,6次成功登月,另有3次繞月飛行。

另外,“阿波羅”還指一組近地小行星,因小行星(1862)阿波羅而得名。這組小行星的特點是半長軸大於地日距離(即1個天文單位),近日點距離小於1個天文單位。這意味著在軌道運行過程中,阿波羅小行星從地球軌道內側運行到外側,儘管它們很少接近地球本身。
