Description: 衛星是圍繞行星、矮行星或小行星等較小天體運行的物體。這些衛星可以是人類發射的人造衛星，也可以是天然衛星（通常稱為 moons）。地球有一顆天然衛星月球，還有許多人造衛星圍繞它運行。
衛星星系這個術語有時也用來指圍繞另一個星系運行的一個星系。
