After a M.Sc. in Astrophysics at Paris-Meudon Observatory (2003), a Ph.D. in High-Energy Astrophysics at CEA/SAp & Paris VII University (2003-2006), and two post-doctoral positions at MPI-K, Heidelberg (2006-2008) and APC, Paris (2008-2010), I became a permanent researcher at CNRS. From 2010 until 2024, I worked at the LUPM institute (Montpellier, France) in the data exploitation from space (INTEGRAL, Fermi/LAT) and ground-based (H.E.S.S.) gamma-ray instruments with a special interest in nucleosynthesis and particle acceleration processes in supernovae and their remnants. Since 2024, I have been working on an interdisciplinary research program on the nocturnal environement at the OSU-Reunion (La Réunion, France). In parallel, I have dedicated part of my time to astronomy outreach activities through public stargazing sessions and conferences, as well as pedagogical projects at schools and citizen-science programs related to the preservation of the starry sky.
Appointed as NAEC until: Aug. 1, 2027
