Ethiopia’s geographical location and favorable conditions make it an excellent place for astronomical observation and stargazing. Stargazing events contribute to STEM education in Ethiopia by transforming astronomy’s natural appeal into practical, engaging learning. Despite educational challenges, such events spark curiosity, connect science to culture, and empower girls through programs like SciGirls. They foster collaborations that extend STEM outreach to underserved areas and engage families in supporting students. These initiatives offer a promising path toward scientific literacy and national development in Ethiopia.
