Glossary term: 度
Description: 在数学中，度（符号为°）是角度的单位。一度是整个圆周的1/360。它既可以用十进制小数来表示，也可以被细分为角分（符号为′）和角秒（符号为″）。一度被分为60角分，一角分被分为60角秒。一角秒是一度的1/3600，是一个极小的角度。
度数可用于表示天体的视尺寸（见角直径）及其在天球上的位置（另见：赤纬、赤经、高度角和方位角，对应于地球上：纬度和经度）。它们也用于测量天球上的天体之间的角距离。向前伸直胳膊时拳头的宽度约为10°，从地平到天顶的距离是90°。根据尺度的不同，望远镜的分辨率和视场可以用度、角分或角秒来表示。
度数的另一含义是温度的单位，使用时需标明华氏温标或摄氏温标。摄氏温标定义海平面上水的冰点为0°C，水的沸点为100°C。 摄氏温标下，一度对应的温度变化与一开尔文是相同的，但它们的零点不同。开尔文温标的零点是绝对零度，即最低温度-273.15°C。在较早的华氏温标中，一度对应的温度变化与5/9摄氏度（或开尔文）相同。
