वृश्चिक राशि (Scorpio) तारामण्डल, यसका चम्किला ताराहरू र वरपरका तारामण्डलहरू। वृश्चिक (माथिबाट घडीको दिशामा जाँदा) ओफियकस , सर्पेन्स क्यापुट, तुला, लुपस, नोर्मा, आरा, कोरोना अस्ट्रालिस र धनु राशिले घेरिएको छ। वृश्चिकको सबैभन्दा चम्किलो तारा ज्येष्ठा (अन्टारेस) तारामण्डलको मुटुमा देखिन्छ र प्रसिद्ध वृश्चिकको पुच्छर दक्षिण-पूर्व (तल्लो बायाँ) मा छ। वृश्चिक क्रान्तिवृत्तमा (यहाँ नीलो रेखाको रूपमा देखाइएको) अवस्थित छ। क्रान्तिवृत्त भनेको सूर्यले वर्षभरिमा आकाशमा पार गरेको देखिने मार्ग हो। सूर्य नोभेम्बरको अन्त्यमा वृश्चिकमा थोरै समय मात्र बस्छ। सौर्यमण्डलका अन्य ग्रहहरू प्रायः वृश्चिकमा भेट्टाउन सकिन्छ। वृश्चिक आकाशीय भूमध्य रेखाको दक्षिणमा अवस्थित छ। तारामण्डलको सम्पूर्ण संरचना पृथ्वीको सबैभन्दा कुनाको आर्कटिक क्षेत्रहरूबाट देखिँदैन र केही भागहरू एशिया, युरोप र उत्तरी अमेरिकाका उत्तरी भागहरूका पर्यवेक्षकहरूका लागि देख्न कठिन हुन्छ। वृश्चिक उत्तरी गोलार्धको गर्मी र दक्षिणी गोलार्धको जाडोमा साँझमा सबैभन्दा बढी देखिन्छ। पहेंलो वृत्तहरूले खुला समूहहरू एम ६, एम ७ र एनजीसी ६२३१ को स्थिति चिन्ह लगाउँछन् जबकि पहेंलो वृत्तहरूमा प्लस चिन्ह राखिएकाले गोलाकार समूहहरू एम ४ र एम ८० लाई चिन्ह लगाउँछन्।
