Glossary term: 天文學傢

Description: 天文學傢研究構成宇宙的各種物質對象。天文學傢可以是專業人士,也可以是業餘愛好者。專業天文學傢和一些天文愛好者通過分析地麵和空間望遠鏡獲得的科學數據,以迴答有關宇宙中物體的組成、它們的分布、演化和未來等問題。根據這些信息,天文學傢們提齣新的理論來解釋我們所看到的宇宙中大大小小各種尺度的天體和現象。也有些天文愛好者觀測星空主要是為瞭領略宇宙的神奇。就實際工作而言,天文學傢和天體物理學傢之間沒什麼區彆。在現代天文學中,在進行專業的觀測的同時,也總是會對産生被觀測到的現象的物理過程進行建模,而且大學水平的天文學訓練也必然會包括相關的物理知識。
