Description: Un télescope optique est un instrument utilisé pour observer et étudier des objets astronomiques en lumière visible (optique). Les télescopes optiques utilisent des miroirs (télescope à réflexion) et/ou des lentilles (télescope à réfraction) pour collecter et focaliser la lumière. À l'origine, les télescopes ont été conçus pour observer des objets distants sur Terre, mais ils ont rapidement été utilisés pour l'astronomie. La taille des télescopes peut varier de quelques centimètres à plus de dix mètres de diamètre.
