I have a Ph.D. in atmospheric science. working in the astronomy department at the Ministry of youth and sport, I have been working to spread astronomical education by organizing astronomy activities with amateur and professionals astronomers, I have a good network with academic astronomy researchers from different Iraqi universities, and I have implemented multiple astronomy activities in schools and public places (e.g. training courses, an evening astronomical observation, etc.) to encourage our girls and boys to practice their hobby of observation and using a telescope. I have a future program that includes organizing a yearly astronomy conference that gathers all the astronomers, including amateurs, and any other organizations to support astronomical activities in Iraq.
