Raúl Mújica García is a researcher in the Astrophysics Department at the National Institute of Astrophysics, Optics an Electronics (INAOE). He is a member of the IAU, the Mexican Academy of Sciences, and the National System of Researchers.

Anahí Caldú did her PhD in Astrophysics at the Max Planck Institute of Astronomy studying molecular gas in other galaxies. For the last three years she has been fully dedicated to science communication. She returned to Mexico to be in charge of the communication office of the Institute for Radioastronomy and Astrophyisics of UNAM. She was then invited to be Director of Outreach of the National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT) where she worked for a year. Since January she is back at an office of communication, this time at the Institute of Astronomy of UNAM.

My Ph.D. in Astronomy is from Univ. of California/Berkeley in 1985. I was a postdoc in the Harvard-SmithI got my Ph.D. in UC/Berkeley. I am a professor in the Instituto de Astronomía at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. My field is Stellar and Galactic Dynamics.

Bernardo Cervantes Sodi

I got my B.A. degree in Physics Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana and my MSc and PhD in Astronomy from the Institute of Astronomy of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). My first postdoctoral appointment was at the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute in Daejeon, South Korea, my second appointment was at the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory in China and my last one at the Korea Institute for Advance Studies in Seoul, South Korea. Since 2015 I am associate researcher at the Instituto de Radioastronomía y Astrofísica of the UNAM. I'm interested in the study of the structure, morphology and evolution of galaxies. Recently, my work is focused on the formation and evolution of barred galaxies in different environments and the formation processes of low surface brightness galaxies. Currently, I am head of the public outreach department at my institute.

I'm astronomer and science communicator. I got a Ph.D in astronomy in UNAM-campus Morelia, Mexico. I have been involved in several projects of outreach and science communication, including my own "Las narices de Tycho" ("Tycho's Noses")
