Dr Matthieu Renaud

After a M.Sc. in Astrophysics at Paris-Meudon Observatory (2003), a Ph.D. in High-Energy Astrophysics at CEA/SAp & Paris VII University (2003-2006), and two post-doctoral positions at MPI-K, Heidelberg (2006-2008) and APC, Paris (2008-2010), I'm currently a CNRS/IN2P3 permanent researcher at LUPM, Montpellier, France. My expertise relates to the data exploitation from space (INTEGRAL, Fermi/LAT) and ground-based (H.E.S.S.) gamma-ray instruments with a special interest in nucleosynthesis and particle acceleration processes in supernovae and their remnants. I'm also involved in astronomy outreach through public stargazing sessions and conferences, as well as Rectorate-supported pedagogical projects at schools.
