In einem zauberhaften Moment saust ein lebendiger Meteor über den Himmel, ein atemberaubender Feuerball, der die rechte untere Ecke des Bildrahmens um die 41ste Sekunde herum kurz erhellt. Im weiteren Verlauf der Sequenz beleuchtet der aufgehende Mond elegant die Landschaft und wirft seinen Schein auf einen uralten Baumstamm, der auf dem trockenen, staubigen Boden des Salar de Atacama ruht. Diese fesselnde Reise durch den nächtlichen Himmel endet vor Einbruch der Dämmerung und bietet einen Einblick in die himmlischen Wunder, die in den nächtlichen Wandteppich von San Pedro de Atacama eingewebt sind.
