Glossary term: Meridiano
Description: Las líneas de longitud también se denominan meridianos. El meridiano principal se define como el de 0 grados de longitud. Atraviesa Greenwich, en Londres, Reino Unido, y también se conoce como meridiano de Greenwich. El antimeridiano se encuentra al otro lado del mundo, a 180 grados, y constituye la base de la línea internacional de cambio de fecha.
