Description: 티-타우리별(황소자리티형별)은 질량이 작은 젊은 별 중 하나로, 별이 막 태어나고 있는 과정에 있는 변광성입니다. 이름은 이 별의 대표적인 예인 황소자리 티-타우리(T Tauri)에서 따왔습니다. 이런 별들은 주로 별이 새로 형성되는 영역에서 발견됩니다. 티-타우리별의 표면 온도(유효 온도)는 같은 질량을 가진 F, G, K, M형 주계열성들과 비슷하지만, 크기가 더 크기 때문에 훨씬 밝게 빛납니다. 이 별들은 아직 중심에서 수소 핵융합을 시작하지 않았으며, 대신 중력 수축으로 인한 에너지 방출로 빛을 냅니다. 즉, 중력이 별을 압축하면서 그 에너지가 열과 빛으로 바뀌는 단계에 있습니다. 티-타우리별은 불규칙하게 변하는 밝기와 특이한 스펙트럼으로 쉽게 구별할 수 있습니다. 또한 강한 X선과 전파를 방출하기도 합니다. 밝기 변화는 별주위원반( 별 주변 원반)에 있는 먼지나 가스 덩어리가 별빛을 가리기 때문이기도 합니다.
