I work as a science teacher in a secondary school in Thessaloniki, Greece. I have a BSc in Physics, a MSc in "Remote Sensing and Image Processing" and a PhD in Science education.

During the last 15 years I encourage students to become actively involved with Astronomy and Space. In this context, I have organized in many isolated schools of Greece stargazing events, teleconferences with university professors, even with the ESA doctor Mr. Adrianos Golemis , during his stay in Antarctica. In addition, I have founded and organized many Astronomy clubs among students.

I was also elected President of the Amateurs' Astronomers Club of Thessaloniki, one of the oldest and known clubs of Greece, for two concsecutive terms, to which I still remain active member.

In July 2015 I discovered a supernova i.e. an exploding star, named SN2015ac, as member of the former Greek Sypernovae Survey Team.
