Konkoly Observatory, Hungary

I am a Junior Research Fellow at Konkoly Observatory in Budapest, where I am pursuing my PhD studies on stellar astrophysics. Currently, I am a local leader at the Observatory for the training programme for high school students preparing for the International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA). Since 2017, I have trained over 50 students for the Olympiad, in which Hungarians win gold, silver and bronze medals every year. I am also part of the organising committee of the annual Hungarian astronomical competition, Athletica Galactica, which is targeted at Hungarian high school students from the Carpathian Basin and serves as a qualifying competition for the Hungarian team for the IOAA.

Appointed as NAEC until: Aug. 1, 2027
