Born in Montevideo, Uruguay. He studied Agronomy at the University of the Republic, graduated as a Technical Professor in the Agricultural Area and has been teaching in his area and in astronomy for 43 years. He has taught in formal primary, secondary and technological secondary education.
He is a Radio and Television Journalist and was an active Agricultural and Livestock Leader and Cooperativist.
Today he is a student of Astronomy and Astrobiology at the Galileo University of Guatemala. He is a national and international lecturer on astronomical topics and continues to develop activities in non-formal education by teaching regular astronomy and basic astro-tourism courses to bring astronomy closer to the community in his country.
