The 4th Chilean Astronomy Education Conference

On July 3 and 4, 2025, the Chilean NAEC team, in collaboration with the Astronomy Institute at Universidad Católica del Norte (UCN), hosted the 4th edition of the Chilean Astronomy Education Conference.
This conference is the main initiative that connects people involved in astronomy education in Chile. This year's edition took place at the UCN campus in Antofagasta (north of Chile, in the same region as the Paranal Observatory). 86 people, mostly school teachers, coming from several parts of the country, attended the event.
The conference offered astronomy and education talks, hands-on workshops, posters with pedagogical experiences, and a night-sky observation with telescopes in the Atacama Desert. Hands-on workshops were the most valued activities, especially the one offered by the Rubin Observatory to explore its first images.
In general, the participants were satisfied with the event and would like the conference to continue being offered annually, ideally with a longer duration. Moreover, they wish the NAEC-Chile team to organize more workshops and talks, both online and in-person, during the year.
