Starlight Bridges, funded by the OAD and implemented in Karpenisi, Greece, explores community astrotourism as a tool for STEAM education, environmental awareness, and sustainable rural development. The project trains educators, women, and youth as “AstroGuides” through astronomy workshops, storytelling, and night-sky activities. By linking astronomy with local culture, mythology, ecology, and dark-sky protection, the project promotes informal STEAM learning and public engagement. Activities include school outreach, astronomy observations, the creation of a Starlight Path, and the Dark Sky Festival of Evrytania.
