Lucky Puspitarini
(Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB))
The education sector in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) struggles with challenges in access, quality, and governance. To address this, the Community Development Equity ITB 2025 initiative empowers local educators to teach astronomy using accessible technologies. Supported by the Network for Astronomy School Education (NASE)—an IAU Working Group dedicated to enhancing astronomy education—this program emphasizes 'teaching teachers how to teach astronomy.' From April 21-23, 2026, the NASE workshop was successfully held at FKIP UNDANA. Twenty participants engaged in practical sessions covering stellar evolution, the solar system, and astrobiology.
