Glossary term: Espaço sideral

Description: O espaço sideral, frequentemente abreviado para “espaço”, é o termo usado para designar todas as regiões do nosso Universo que se encontram além da atmosfera terrestre. Os voos espaciais são a atividade de enviar veículos adequados para o espaço sideral, e esses veículos são chamados de naves espaciais. Ciências espaciais é um termo abrangente para todos os ramos da ciência que se ocupam da exploração do espaço, dos voos espaciais ou dos corpos astronômicos no espaço sideral que podem ser alcançados por naves espaciais, o que inclui a astronomia e a planetologia.
