Description: El espacio exterior, a menudo denominado simplemente «espacio», es el término que designa todas las regiones de nuestro Universo situadas más allá de la atmósfera terrestre. Los vuelos espaciales consisten en el envío de medios de transporte adecuados al espacio exterior y a través de él; dichos medios se denominan naves espaciales. Las ciencias espaciales es un término genérico que engloba todas las ramas de la ciencia relacionadas con la exploración espacial, los vuelos espaciales o los cuerpos astronómicos del espacio exterior a los que pueden llegar las naves espaciales, lo que incluye la astronomía y la planetología.
