Glossary term: Astronomie des rayons cosmiques

Description: Cette branche de l'astronomie est consacrée à l'étude des sources de particules chargées de haute énergie dans l'Univers. Cela permet aux astronomes d'étudier les propriétés de ces sources et divers autres aspects associés, tels que les champs magnétiques dans l'Univers. Les rayons cosmiques peuvent être observés à l'aide de méthodes similaires à celles utilisées en physique des particules, ou en recherchant les éclairs de rayons gamma qui accompagnent les particules chargées à grande vitesse se déplaçant dans l'atmosphère.
